Seems the New York Times and the Washington Post are both now reporting the helicopter mentioned in my earlier diary entry was downed by rocket fire.  Before we get too excited about the openness of the domestic media let's ask ourselves, "Where's the coverage of Al Gore's speech today at Constitution Hall?" The New York Times is reporting this morning that a helicopter crashed in Iraq and the causes of the crash are unknown.  The story goes on to say that there has been a "spike" in helicopter crashes recently and ties this in with winter weather.
